FAQ (Lace Front)

What is the difference between the French and Swiss Lace?

The French Lace is more durable and will hold up better over the long run.  The Swiss lace is slightly thinner and a little less detectable, however it is less durable and it rips easier.  It’s hard to tell the difference between the two. Both are undetectable.  Most people order the French Lace.  The Swiss Lace is not recommended for first time users.  It is best to learn how to apply the wig and become skilled at the application prior to advancing to the Swiss Lace.

How long does it take for the wig to ship or be made?

These are custom made just for you and take approximately 6-8 weeks to be designed.

How is the wig designed?

All of our wigs are hand-crafted using invisible lace.  Then the individual pieces of 100% Indian Remy Hair are then skillfully hand-tied into the lace and double knotted to prevent shedding.

Does the wig come with Baby Hair?

YES, baby hair is a FREE Option - we do not charge extra to add baby hair.  You can also request no baby hair.

What are Bleached Knots?

Bleached knots are a technique where they bleach out the knot that is made when each strand of hair is hand-tied into the lace at the base of the cap.  It bleaches the knot out, making it a little lighter so that it does not stand out as much.  It gives it a more natural appearance as though the hairs are growing out of the scalp.  This is recommended when you choose a dark hair color.

Can I attach the wig myself or do I have to go to a salon to have it attached?

95% of our customers attach their own wigs.

How do I Measure my Head?

We provide you with a Picture Illustration that shows you exactly how to measure your head.

If I am bald or have scarce hair, do I need to add the inch to my number 2 and number 5 measurements?

No, if you are bald, you do not need to add the inch, simply hold the tape measure where you want your hairline to start but give a little room for if you bend your head back and forth.

Can I still take care of my own natural hair while wearing these types of wigs?

Yes, absolutely.  You will want to make sure you take care of your own natural hair just as you normally would.  You want to make sure you still wash and condition your own natural hair.  This can be done by simply removing your wig as often as you wish to do so.

What does the Full Lace Cap with Ear to Ear Stretch look like?

This is our most common cap style.  It will allow you to wear the wig in high ponytails and updos.  The ear to ear stretch lace is transparent and gives a natural appearance when parted.
